Overview
Aria is an all-in-one mobile app that allows customers to order food and drinks directly from their phones and have items delivered right to their tables at restaurants. The app also lets users instantly settle their bills without having to wave down wait staff. For restaurants, Aria optimises operations by reducing the need for as much staff, cutting down on overhead costs. The streamlined system facilitated by the app provides convenience for patrons and increases efficiency for eateries.
The Problem
Aria competes against many white label mobile ordering and payment solutions. Rather than pursue an MVP strategy, Aria sought from the outset to design a best-in-class app that could compete with top players in all markets. Their goal was a timeless, clean, user-centric product that matched industry leaders in quality and experience.
The Solution
Aria explored two design options—a standout style appealing to early investors and beta users, or a minimalist, timeless iOS-style look aimed at longevity. They opted for the latter, we where thrilled, creating an iOS-inspired app focused on long-term appeal rather than short-term buzz. Key was building an application that would feel current and stylish for years to come. In the end, Aria felt the minimalist iOS-like application achieved that goal and matched their vision.
