Overview

Ajar is one of the MENA region’s leading proptech platforms, powering rent collection, property management, and tenant payments across Kuwait and the GCC. The product already operated at meaningful scale, trusted by landlords, portfolio managers, and institutional investors alike. But while the platform’s functionality was strong, its brand, website, and overall creative system no longer reflected the ambition, maturity, or global expansion potential of the business.

The Problem

Ajar’s core challenge was perception: despite powerful features, the brand felt traditional and forgettable, the website was functional but lacked narrative and emotional pull, and the product UI, though robust, lacked the personality, polish, and intelligence expected from a category-defining platform. The identity didn’t yet communicate ambition or modernity, the web experience under-delivered on storytelling and conversion, and the product interface wasn’t fully leveraged to guide users or reinforce trust — creating a gap between what Ajar is and how it was perceived.
